What If I Don't Have Enough Tasks to Delegate Right Now?

Ed: We always get stuck in the, well, I’m not ready, there’s not enough work, right? We learn capacity creates revenue. And I think a major error is to think that they have to have all of this work ready for them in order for them to pull the trigger.

And I challenge them that they have to work themselves into it, because this is a novel way of working, right? You’re not going to get a remote worker who is going to be 100% on day one. And so, there’s training, there’s many things that they could do to get up to speed. And it’s sort of, like this phase where they have to figure out exactly what they would like to do.

Sure, there are things that are obvious, right? Like checking emails and scheduling and drafting and things like that. But I would say one of the number one errors is that they’re waiting for that perfect time to use a remote worker.
